Paige wants to be accepted into the MBA program to achieve her dream of a successful career where she can make a difference. As a 23-year-old single mother working full-time and attending school full-time, she pushes herself daily to get the best grades possible and be the best student, worker, and mother despite not having a perfect GPA. She strives to continually improve and serve as a role model for her son to never give up on your goals. Her passion for education and accomplishment is why she wants to advance her education in the MBA program.

“Why I want to be in the MBA program”
When I realized I wanted to get started into the Master’s in Business Administration
Program, I realized nothing would make me happier then to be successful in the career of my
dreams. I always dreamed of being in an industry where I can make a difference. Ever since I
was a little girl I was one to never give up on something that I truly wanted. Being twenty-three
years old and looking at where I am in life, I have never been happier and proud of myself. I am
working full time, in school full time, and a single mother full time to a three year old little boy.
Going through school for so many years being so unbelievable busy, I know in my heart it is all
worth it because I love being a mother, and I also love learning more and love being in a world
where I can make a difference. I may not have straight A’s or a 3.5 GPA or higher, but going
through everything I have been going through for years I do my absolute best to get the best
grades and GPA as possible. Even thought my GPA is not a 4.0, I still am passionate about my
education and never give up on a task that is overbearing. I push myself each and every day to do
better and be the best college student, worker, and mother I can be. I strive for the best results
and at the end of each day I am more proud of myself each day because I am one step closer to
my goal and where I want to be successful in life. Not only am I pushing myself to the end to do
better, I am also doing this for my son. I want to show my son no matter what you go through in
life if you really want something never give up, take one day at a time and as you keep
continuing that mind set of accomplishment, before you know it weather it is two years from
now or five years, you will eventually get there and be able to say “I did it!” There are people out
there that will tell you that you cannot do something, I am someone that will continue to prove
them wrong over and over again until I am happy where I am at in life, I will never give up. This
is why I am so into my education and want to succeed, in my life I will never be satisfied until I
am at where I want to be, I want to be at that Master level, and begin the rest of my journey in
the Master’s in Business Administration program.
