Principle product development architect in a Senior Scientist role. Fluent in recombinant
design and production, from gene construction and cloning to biologics scale-up and final
purification.
o Engineered fusion proteins, recombinant antibodies, and recombinant toxins
using a variety of organism strains.
o New Product Planning - Lobbied internal executive leadership for budgetary
allotments and project prioritization based on forward-looking corporate vision
and catalog needs.
o Product Manager for catalog portfolio subset including customer and technical
support, public communications via quarterly newsletter contributions, and
tradeshow representation.
o Generated and patented (pending) a recombinant lectin, filling a major gap in
sourcing pipeline. Spearheaded project from cloning & isolation to publishing &
presenting findings at major scientific conferences.
o Authored >10 patent applications including consolidation of in-house data and
publication research.
o Constructed specific and detailed justifications to FDA as part of new drug
applications for human/animal therapies resulting in successful IND and Phase I
human trial.

De facto manager of entire research lab serving as primary researcher, resident
molecular biology expert, cultivator of protein purification techniques, corporate safety
officer, and official trainer of all new laboratory personnel.
o Designed and executed on development of >10 new products to the catalog
resulting in a 3.5-fold increase in company revenue.
o Internal champion from conception to clinical trial for a patented drug product
candidate currently in Phase I trials.
o Created and curated company SOP library in response to need for GLP
standards and in anticipation of future cGMP therapeutic requirements.
o Implemented and honed purification strategies and assay development for all in-
house catalog products – including in vitro & cell-based assays, and liquid
chromatography expertise.
