What Car?, FourFourTwo and various customer publishing projects including
FA football match programmes; Immediate Media youth titles including Match
of the Day, Top of the Pops and Doctor Who Adventures; shorter bookings held
at a variety of publishers including Bauer, IPC, National Magazines and
Condé Nast’s consumer publishing department
2004-2005 Senior Designer for Bauer women’s weekly, Bella
2002-2004 Year-long contract from launch of Bauer’s Closer, followed
by similar stint at men’s weekly Zoo for its first months. These preceded by
regular short bookings at various other Bauer titles including Empire,
Smash Hits, and Heat
2001 Year spent in Sydney, Australia. Regular freelance positions at Smash
Hits and FHM (Emap Australia), also at RALPH, Woman’s Day and Take 5 (ACP)
1997-2000 Year-long freelance contract at Emap’s Heat, from three weeks
before its launch. Previously, shorter bookings at a variety of magazines
including FHM, Bliss, Kerrang! and Period Living & Traditional Homes (Emap);

I’m a highly skilled graphic designer and art director with a wealth of
experience in a variety of consumer magazines. I’m happy to get stuck into
most aspects of print design, from illustration to maintaining templates,
creating posters and brochures, doing reprographic work and checking proofs.
