ABOUT ME
I was born in a town called Cascais. I grew up
by the ocean and surrounded by nature,
clearling influencing my fondness for
outdoor activities with human interaction. In
part, that shaped me into the person I am
today; an extrovert yet sensitive person,
ready to receive from others and share my
knowledge and experiences with those
around me, making me passionate about life
and about all the adventures that await me.
I have the ambition to be part of something
significant, something that can change the
world for the better where my voice can be
heard.

ABOUT
ME

Personal Traits
I have always been independent and confident due to the fact
that I am observant. I see as an opportunity every place I visit and
come in touch with, bearing a mindset with the thrill of learning.
My friends have my trust which makes me a great travel partner.
I constantly find ways to reach solutions or to achieve my goals,
without fully depending on others. I find it important to stop,
breathe and make my own decisions, however, besides being a
good observer I am a great listener which makes it easier for me
to communicate with others and together coming into the same
ground, and that would be a great gain for the IE community.

LONDON CHRISTMAS OF 2019
My trip to London was the first time that I travelled alone,
outside of Portugal without my parents. My best friend
and I decided that we wanted to spend the days before
Christmas in the city that "never stops". On the last day,
Christmas Eve, we had an unexpected turn of events.
Hours before our return flight, I had an issue with my
bank account which I immediately acted on by calling my
bank on the busiest day of the year. After a long phone
call in the middle of a shopping mall, the issue was
solved and I returned to our apartment to pack. I
remember being inside the airport, focused on getting
home on time for Christmas, when we were notified that
the flight was delayed. We were locked inside for 5 hours
and the staff didn't let anyone go out to eat. As my friend
and I we were younger, I arranged for a flight attendant
to sell us a dinner and in the meantime, if we couldn't fly
that day, I would have everything taken to a possible
hotel reservation. Luckily, at 3 am on Christmas day we
were home. It was undoubtedly an adventure, but the
important thing was to breathe, think about the
consequences and keep a positive thought.

When I was 13 I had my first contact with God, a young God. I was already in a Catholic school but that summer
was the first time that I felt a direct connection with the church, it was as if He had called me. From that moment
everything changed, especially the way of seeing the world and people, I gained a purpose, I returned home full of
love to give, I wanted to help people who are close and dear to me. And even though I didn't grow up in a Catholic
family, I could see God in every corner, in the way that my mother huddled us before sleeping even in the moments
of volunteering and in the captivating stories that those people told us, and that because of their love for God they
kept going and never lost the courage to live and be better every day, even in bad days. So whenever I face a
difficulty I remember this, with God I am stronger.

Life
It was by luck of destiny that I ended up
in Milonga and later in Cravas, the
summer camps that make my faith
bigger and bigger every year. In these
fields we speak of God as a friend,
someone close to us, and we harvest a
young church with energy to give. It was
a week that completely changed my life.

PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT
Personal Accomplishment
In this past year I went through some difficulties; I wanted to find myself yet I didn't know what I
wanted to do with my life. I was feeling down, unknowing of my strength to get up, until I started
searching for answers.
I am currently in a process of self-development and inner knowledge through life-changing therapy. I
became myself again, having dreams and believing in the power to make them happen. The path has
had its ups and downs, yet it is important to keep myself strong and focused on what I want. College
has always been a sensitive topic for me, I am a very good multitasker and I had some difficulty
understanding which course I wanted to study. Now, I already know which path I want to trace, the one
of communication and media. I want to speak and transmit what comes to my mind to the world. This
is a great accomplishment for me, finally knowing what I want and where I want to go.
08
BAD PLACE
I was down and lacked the strength to stay
happy and positive.
SELF HEALING PROCESS
When I asked for help, I got to know myself
and realized the person I want to be.
GOALS
Today I have professional and personal
dreams, I dream of reaching every person in
the world with my voice.
