I gave The Hunger Games a rating of

                                   Five out of Five Stars

I thought the book was very intense. Suzanne Collins has written a book about post
apocalyptic America and how people had to struggle to survive without basic human rights.
The story takes place in a country called Panem, which used to be North America. This
new country is brutal and unforgiving. Young people between the ages of 12 and 18 are
forced to participate in the Hunger Games. This televised event is a fight to the death, with
only one survivor. I thought Suzanne Collins portrayed the main characters with humanity.
I felt sadness over the choices they had to make. Her description of life and death in Panem
was very real and I felt like I was there watching everything happen right in front of my
eyes.
I loved the book, I could not put it down. I am very anxious to read the next two books in
the series.

Ratings: I gave The Hunger Games a rating of Five out of Five Stars I thought the book was very intense. Suzanne Collins has written a book about post apocalyptic America and how people had to struggle to survive without basic human rights. The story takes place in a country called Panem, which used to be North America. This new country is brutal and unforgiving. Young people between the ages of 12 and 18 are forced to participate in the Hunger Games. This televised event is a fight to the death, with only one survivor. I thought Suzanne Collins portrayed the main characters with humanity. I felt sadness over the choices they had to make. Her description of life and death in Panem was very real and I felt like I was there watching everything happen right in front of my eyes. I loved the book, I could not put it down. I am very anxious to read the next two books in the series.
