encontran esparexidos polos montes galegos. De atopase
con eles, esta destinado a morrer. Un día, as culturas
galegas e irlandesas uníronse para rematar coa Santa
Compaña.
 (Santa Compaña is a group of 9 spirits that go out at night
wandering around the Galician mountains. If any man
meets them, he is destined to die. One day, the Galician and
Irish cultures come together to put an end tothe Santa

(We have to do something, the situation is getting out of hand, and they are going to kill us all)
Deberías chamar a alguén.”
(You are right, you can’t solve it on your own, and they outnumber us. You should call someone)
 Maruxa: “Pero ti coñeces persoa capaz de facelo?”
(But, do you know anyone who will be able to help us?)
(Yes, in Ireland, there is a brave fighter called Cú Chulainn. He is a tall and strong man, a hero; he is
capable of defeating hundreds of enemies on his own. He never lost a battle and he is considered
Ireland’s greatest hero.)
 Maruxa: Está bén, chamarémolo.
(Perfect, let’s call him)
 Xulia: Como?
(How are we going to call him?)
 Maruxa: Utilizando unha “seagull” coñecida como gaivota.
(Using a “seagull” known as “gaivota”)

 Narrator: it took Cú Chulainn seven days and seven
nights to arrive in Galicia. When Cú Chulainn arrived
in Galicia he met Maruxa. He thought she was very
brave and strong. She had long, curly, auburn hair. She
was wearing a short typical Galician skirt.

Prepara o armamento. Non hai tempo que perder.
(Quickly, get the weapons ready!. There is no time to waste!)

(After the great victory, Cú Chulain decides to go back to Ireland ...)
 Cú Chulainn: Foi duro, mais conseguímolo xuntos. Agora reunirei tódolos

people
Bhí sé deacair, ach bhris againn orthu le chéile. Tá mé ag dul a bhailiú go léir na

 Maruxa: A batalla foi moi dura. Grazas por vir axudarme. Xuntos salvamos a

It was a very hard battle. Thank you for helping me. Together we saved my people.
 Cú Chulainn: De nada. Ben, agora voltarei a Irlanda. Ate a próxima. /
You are welcome. Well, now I’m travelling back to Ireland. See you next time!

( However, Maruxa thinks that Cú Chulainn should stay
in Galicia to help one another against different
conflicts that may arise)
 Entón Cú Chulain queda e acábase namorando de
