David Sheppard recommends Martha Fielden for a position, noting she stepped in when the site manager left to manage timesheets for over 40 people, ensuring they were submitted on time and accurately. As the main contact on site, Martha scheduled new hires for orientations and drug screens, and ordered safety equipment. She also worked closely with project engineers to enter data for billing and prepared weekly reports. Martha's supervisor states she effectively used interpersonal skills to manage issues during her time as manager for a project from 2015 to 2016.

For all of these reasons, I think Martha will make a fine addition to your team. Should
you have any questions, I invite you to contact me at the number or address, below.
Martha's willingness to step in and help out wherever there is a need is only part of the
value she brings. She also has the interpersonal skills to be a trusted and supporting
resource on a team. Martha's personal approach to others will be an asset your college
needs for student recruitment and retention.
When the site manager left, Martha stepped in and took over managing the daily
timesheets. She made sure that over 40 people got them turned in on time and they
were done accurately. People often dismiss timesheets as unimportant but in this case
it was essential to our getting paid for the work. Getting a mix of 40 laborers to do
anything accurately and regularly is a challenge that Martha took on with a great
attitude.
Martha was our main contact on site for site visitors, new hires (we had over 45 new
hires on site during her time). She scheduled them for their Safety Orientation and drug
screen. She orders the safety equipment we furnish each new employee. Martha
works closely with the Project Engineer/s entering data into Coso for billing to client,
prepares the weekly Emerson on Site Week Ending Report for client and prepares
paperwork for return on defected instrumentation. She became the go-to person for
many things.
As Manager for the Wacker Polysilicon Project during start-up and commissioning, I
have been Martha Fielden's direct supervisor from June 2015 till March 2016. Our job is
winding down and Martha's contract will be ending soon. We have worked closely on a
few projects, and I am happy to give her a letter of recommendation. Martha effectively
uses her interpersonal skills to manage issues as they arise.
