Role OverviewTo work with our MD, our clients’ marketing teams and suppliers to plan, manage and implement strategy, branding, design and marketing projects.
The RoleThe Hive Consultancy is looking for a dedicated and highly reliable account manager. You’ll report directly to our MD, working on the day-to-day management and execution of key financial and professional services accounts. You'll be responsible for: Developing, maintaining and extending client relationshipsUnderstanding our clients’ businesses so you can offer them appropriate supportWriting briefs and coordinating suppliers Managing projects and their timelinesCreating plans and proposals for campaigns and specific deliverables Gaining insight to develop strategies for our clients through web and marketing collateral research and analysis, e.g. market analysis for clients, communications reviews, etc.Creating presentations and reportsInterpreting marketing data/information and putting that insight into practice BudgetingAdministration, e.g. diary co-ordination, arranging transport, ordering consumables, booking freelancers, etc.
YouYou will have a naturally positive and proactive approachYou will have strong project management skills, the ability to work on your own initiative and an uncompromising approach to qualityTaking ownership, from a project’s inception through to delivery and client satisfaction, is important to youYou will have excellent writing skills and first class attention to detailYou will be calm under pressure and resourceful, great at web research and problem solving (a creative, lateral thinker)You will do whatever it takes to get the job done properlyYou will have the ability to listen and quickly understand client requirements as well as the ability to implement ideasYou will be an effective communicator – keeping everyone in the loop should come naturally, especially as you will be mostly working from homeYou will be nourishing existing client relationships, managing multiple projects, client expectations and meeting strict deadlinesIdeally, will be marketing qualified with print and online knowledge and experience of working in financial and/or professional services organisations.You’ll be as at home creating strategy as choosing paper stock.
General InformationTermsCan be flexible on hours but expect to work every dayLocationAlthough the vast majority of work will be done from home, you will be required to attend some meetings, sometimes at short notice. These will mostly be in central London or at our clients’ offices around the UK. No overnight trips are anticipated. ResourcesIt is essential that you be London-based and have a home office set up i.e. PC or laptop, printer, scanner and a broadband connectionStart dateImmediate.
