American National P&C Increasing WC LCM from 1.392 to 1.423 effective 3-1-18. By increasing LCM the
overall decrease of 10.1% is less than the decrease approved for the NCCI
American Pet Revising rates and rules for pet insurance so that an overall 5.0% increase is
produced effective 5-1-18.
American Service Adopting ISO 2017 commercial auto loss cost and ILFs and revising LCMs effective
Gateway 3-1-18. Overall increase for American Service is 25.0% and 24.0% for Gateway.
AmGuard Increasing WC LCMs effective 3-1-18 so that the overall decrease is less than the
EastGuard loss cost decrease approved for the NCCI. The overall percentage changes and Nor-
Guard changes in LCMs are:
Auto-Owners Revising rates and rules for HO effective 4-12-18 for NB and 5-18-18 for RB.
Although actuarial indicated need was 62.7% company filed was approved for a
5.2% increase.
BITCO National Decreasing WC LCMs so that an overall decrease of 14.2% is produced effective
BITCO General 3-1-18. BITCO National LCM reduced from 1.75 to 1.66 and BITCO General
reduced from 1.487 to 1.411.
Carolina Casualty Increasing WC LCM from 1.62 to 1.70 effective 3-1-18. With the increase in the
LCM the overall change us -0.126% which is much less that approved for the NCCI.
To explain the increase in the LCM the filing states “To remain competitive within
the state, we chose to change our company selected LCM from 1.62 to 1.70.”
Central Mutual Filing a rating factor of 0.95 for all PP Auto coverages except UM for any insured
that has a valid insurance license from the Department of Commerce and Insurance.

Crestbrook Revising rates and rules for HO so that a 16.0% increase is produced effective
6-15-18.
Crestbrook Revising rates and rules for PP Autos so that an overall 19.5% increase is produced
effective 6-15-18.
Dairyland Increasing rates for motorcycles 15.0% effective 7-26-18 for RB only as NB is no
longer being written.
Direct Revising rates and rules for PP Auto so that an overall 5.06% increase is produced
effective 1-22-18 for NB and 3-8-18 for RB.
Essentia Revising rates and rules for the Classic Auto program so that an overall 0.389%
increase is produced effective 5-1-18 for NB and 6-1-18 for RB.
Federated Mutual Revising rates and rules for commercial autos effective 5-15-18. Overall increases
Federated Service are 10.7% for Federated Mutual and 9.3% for Federated Service.

are less than that approved for the NCCI. Changes in LCMs and parentage changes

Crum & Forster Indemnity Revising WC LCMs effective 3-1-15. LCMs are increased so that the overall
North River decreases are less than approved for the NCCI. Percentage decreases and changes in
United States Fire LCMs are:

GuideOne Specialty Mutual Initial filing of WC LCM off 1.695 effective 5-1-18.
Harco National Increasing liability rates 6.0% with no change for physical damage rates for the
commercial auto truckers program. Effective 3-1-18.
Hartford Group Increasing WC LCMs and other rule changes effective 3-1-18 so that the overall
changes are less than a 1.0% decrease except for Hartford A&I which is a 5.1%
increase.
ISO Decreasing loss cost for motorcycles 3.6% effective 8-1-18.
MGA Revising PP Auto rates effective 11-16-17 for NB and 1-16-18 for RB so that an
overall increase of 6.7% is produced.
National American Increasing WC LCM from 1.89 to 1.943 effective 3-1-18. Overall decrease is 3.02%
which is much lower than the decrease in loss cost approved for the NCCI.
Occidental F&C of North Carolina Increasing liability rates 6.0% with no change for physical damage rates for the
commercial auto truckers program. Effective 3-1-18.
Penn National Mutual Casualty Companies did not change WC LCMs on March 1st
but PNMC is reducing LCM
Penn National Security from 1.799 to 1.699 and PNS is reducing LCM from 1.361 to 1.299 effective 6-1-18.
