Maria Surzycka is a Polish filmmaker and producer born in 1994. She has a bachelor's degree in Film and Television Production from Silesian University and studies Culture and Media Management at Jagiellonian University. She is fluent in English, French, and Polish with basic Spanish. Over the past few years, she has worked on over a dozen short films, music videos, commercials and features in roles such as production manager, executive producer, casting director and costume designer. Her most recent projects include being the office production assistant on the feature film True Crimes and coordinating extras on the pilot episode of The Artist.
