Ms. Sinicropi's class will be finishing up learning the letter W and doing phonics and phonemic awareness activities. They will also be working with a poem about the flu and doing different activities with it each day. The students will start learning about writing poetry. Homework this week includes practicing writing sounds, tying shoes, identifying word sounds, counting, and practicing with coins. Upcoming events include a second grade musical, out-of-uniform days, and spring break.

Here are some activities that you and your child can
Phonics
We will be finishing up the letter Ww since we
do at home that will give them practice with what we
missed a couple of days last week. We will also be are learning at school.
