This Week’s Assignments
Reading –Students will be working on their end of the quarter testing. They will also
be reading a fairy tale book to go along with our lesson in writing this week.

Writing – Students will take their fairy tale book and turn it into a newspaper article.
Within each group students will combine their articles to create their own newspaper
of fairy tale events based on the books they read.

Spelling – Students will be given Unit 25 Spelling words for this week. They will be
tested over their words on Friday.

Math – This week we will continue our work with fractions. We will be talking about
equivalent fractions as well as customary units of measure. Please work on these
concepts at home with your children or check out the blog. I have some activities
and lessons on the blog under geometry and fractions. Students will have a quiz
on Friday.

Social Studies – We will be moving on to the Civil War and the role Missouri played
in this war.
