24 employees from Keppel Offshore & Marine's overseas business units in Brazil, China, Qatar, USA and the Philippines were selected for a 14-week Diploma program in partnership with Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The program aimed to increase the technical knowledge of overseas staff and familiarize them with Singapore's working culture and best practices. It included part-time studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and on-job training attachments with mentors in Singapore. The goal was to empower employees by providing knowledge and exposing them to different work environments.

Offshore Technology course
for high-performing staff
from Keppel O&M’s overseas
business units.
24 employees were selected
Growing talent globally
from Keppel O&M’s yards
in Brazil, China, Qatar, USA
and the Philippines for
the inaugural programme
conducted from 11 March
to 15 June 2013.
The programme kicked off
with an orientation and tour
of Keppel O&M’s yards on
8 March 2013, together with
course presentations and
sharing sessions organised to
assimilate the participants. It
will include part-time studies
at NP as well as on-job-
training attachments with
mentors in Singapore.
