to score an IPL hundred but his recent exploits are set to change all that. The focus of his could
well send that IPL record to oblivion as he sets carving new ones.
Not the one to follow the coaching manual, Manish has developed a game that suits him well. An
army background might have instilled discipline but the Bangalore youngster is a free flowing
individual on the field and easily one of the attractive fielders the world will discover soon.
Despite not making the national cut for a while, Manish remained one of the rare batting and
fielding talents in the country. His call up was only a matter of time as he continued to excel in the
domestic scene. After trying his wares with various IPL teams he found his true calling with Kolkata
Knight Riders with whom he is twice champion.
Manish is making up for lost time in a hurry at the moment. The record breaking hundred in
Sydney has made him a certainty in the limited overs mix. With his trademark smile, good looks
and youthful exuberance, it looks like Manish is the new advertisers dream.
