During Covid-19 pandemic, people were unable to move outside for
buying anything.
Even If they were able to there were restrictions on experiencing products
in Industries like fashion, jewelry and many other
So how do customers get the same experience of buying a product
without actually visiting or risking the chances of infection while trying
those products
This where AR and VR comes into the picture and have revolutionized the
experiences of both consumers and Industry
Introduction to AR & VR
The concept of virtual reality dates back to the
invention of Sensorama, the first VR device, by
Morton Heilig in 1957.
Virtual reality requires you to wear a headset
having lens or glasses which are known as VR
glasses and then you see a different world in
front of you.
It is creating a revolution in sports, military,
mental health, medical and education sectors.
Augmented reality means an addition to reality.
Unlike virtual reality which creates a completely
virtual world, augmented reality just adds things to
real world and gives us a new experience and
many practical benefits.
It makes us feel that a virtual object is actually the
part of our real world.
It is used in games, medical science, automobile
industry, interior design, education and military
fields.

  • 3. Introduction to AR & VR The concept of virtual reality dates back to the invention of Sensorama, the first VR device, by Morton Heilig in 1957. Virtual reality requires you to wear a headset having lens or glasses which are known as VR glasses and then you see a different world in front of you. It is creating a revolution in sports, military, mental health, medical and education sectors. Augmented reality means an addition to reality. Unlike virtual reality which creates a completely virtual world, augmented reality just adds things to real world and gives us a new experience and many practical benefits. It makes us feel that a virtual object is actually the part of our real world. It is used in games, medical science, automobile industry, interior design, education and military fields.
