This document provides tips for creating effective presentation slides. It begins by stating that slides should not consist primarily of large blocks of text like word documents turned sideways. Instead, slides should use bullet points and visual elements like images to engage the audience. While clipart and small images are not effective, large, emotionally engaging photographs that illustrate concepts are recommended. The document discusses different ways of incorporating large images onto slides and finding copyright friendly images. It also provides examples of when drawings or illustrations could be used instead of single large images to explain complex concepts. Overall, the document emphasizes using visual elements instead of text to create engaging presentation slides.

This presentation reviews these comprehensive results, investigates the psychological and practical aspects of why gifts of assets are so critical for high-growth fundraising, and discusses strategies for effectively pursuing these important gifts.

Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.
2. A Very Bad Slide
A simple measurement of slide suckage is based
upon the amount of text and visual elements. The
worst slides are essentially text, and LOTS of it, like
this one. These kind of slides are basically just a
word document, turned sideways and put in 20+ pt
font. If you have a compelling need to create slides
like this, please just print them out and give them to
the audience. These aren’t even visual
presentations, so why would you even project
them? Having said that, it is perfectly fine if your
slides START this way as you are developing your
presentation. Just don’t let them end this way!
3. Bullet points
• PowerPoint defaults to bullet points
• May help to reduce text
• Can separate your ideas
• Like posting your main speaking points
4. Good visual elements engage

5. Clipart is a problem
• Is this slide any better with a “visual” element?
• Clipart is small, cartoony, and usually trite
• Most clipart does not appear professional
• Consider photographic images instead
