Before starting the calender, ensure that the operator’s footboard and the fabric
passage is clean.
Avoid any kind of waste material coming in the way of the fabric so that rollers are
not damaged.
Once in 3 months check and ensure that all screws and other components are
tight.
It is compulsory to stop the heating system when the operator is not present.
It is strictly prohibited to leave the calender at a temperature above 60 degree
Celsius alone without the operator.
Operator should not wear loose fitting clothes and jewellery (including finger
rings).
Do not mix mineral oil with synthetic oil.

Change machine oil every 2 years or 9000 operating hours, whichever is earlier.
Carry out complete inspection on machine every year.
Follow lubrication and oil chart recommended by Guarneri strictly.

Clean the steel roller surface properly
with a soft cloth dipped in alcohol or
polish paste without applying pressure,
before starting the machine.
Check and clean if any particles or dirt is
present between rollers.

Check sensitivity of the metal detector
for healthy operation.
