This document summarizes a study conducted by Komal Koya at Larsen & Toubro Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University from March 2015 to July 2015. The study analyzed the existing online maintenance management system at L&T's Hazira Manufacturing complex to identify opportunities for improvement. Key findings included that the execution and financial parts of the system were separate, with no way to track total repair costs. It also found too many irrelevant fields and no way to establish material and labor usage. The study analyzed over 41,000 maintenance complaints and identified trends, such as Estate department having the most complaints and specific areas like HE-East having significantly more issues.
