- 4. - - Michigan Ave NE Reflection Library Lobby Cafe Exhibition The project aims to provide a place that facilitates the col- laboration of multidisciplinary heroes who fight against human trafficking by uniting them thru the use of a node. Simultane- ously, unified with views of the National Basilica, the glass node seeks to provide hope to victims, workers, and visitors alike with the goal to one day eradicate modern slavery also known as human trafficking. This project was done in a group, in which I was responsible for generat- ing and preparing the floor plans for different presentations. - 6. The Scenic Drive Park has been an icon for the city of El Paso where all types of people have been going to appreciate the panoramic views of El Pa- so-Juarez cityscape since the 1930s. The addition of a juice bar/cof- fee shop to the park allows a better control of access for the lower level while providing a reason for visitors to stay lon- ger than a few minutes as they currently do. Along with the addition of the shop, an extend- ed deck allows visitors to enjoy the views in a save environment when access to the lower level is closed.
- 8. Three different townhouses were design to cover different situations and later arranged into multiple stack to create a community. Unit A is a 20 feet wide unit designed to complete the begin- ning and end of a stack. Unit B is another 20 feet wide unit that works as the typical interior unit of a stack. Unit C is a 14 feet wide unit designed to assist the stack better adapted to different street dimensions. Overall the community consist of 163 total units and 6600sqft retail strip in the main road.

- 10. With the old science museum in El Paso demolished, a new Inter- active STEAM museum attempts to introduce a science museum to the arts district. By grabbing forms from its sur- rounding and staking them, the building becomes this urban jen- ga that attempts to balance the science with the arts district.

(SS) Storm Water Management + Heat Island Rain water is harnessed from roof and distributed to multiple cisterns in the building (MR) Regional Materials Metal used for new cool roof would be provided by a nearby manufacturer (IEQ) Solar chimney + Earth Sheltering Modifying the existing skylight to work as a solar chimney would keep thermal comfort on the upper level. The lower level takes advantage of the its existing condition partially underground to use the earth as insulation. One thing that has made the North Christian Church such an iconic building in the city is its landscape and how the building seems to merge with it. Being a church means that more often than not, only during days of worship will the building have a large number of occu- pants, resulting in many areas of the building going unused most of the week. Providing a synergy of sustain- able strategies would allow the church to keep its landscape while reducing water and en- ergy demands, protecting the environment and increasing its landscape lifespan.
