o New model development with duties including updating/correcting assembly drawings, space analysis on Catia of
new vehicle models, verification of bill of materials, and equipment design, innovation, and fabrication.
o Machining including the use of a mill, lathe, drill press, band saw, several types of grinders, and a MIG welder to
design and construct equipment used to improve/update vehicle carriers and assembly equipment.
o In depth work experience using Catia V5 for part and assembly design as well as FEA analysis.
Red-E Air (January 2012 – December 2012)
Design and tooling engineer
o Research and development of a solar powered thermoelectric air condition unit for a vehicle.
o Managed and constructed with a budget of $3,500 funded by Progress Energy.
o Aerodynamic optimization of added components through the use of CFD analysis.
Graffiti Junktion (April 2010- October 2013)
Trainer, waiter, bartender, bar-back, and graphic artist
o Fabricated, designed, and painted the tables for all the Graffiti Junktion restaurants.
