Principle

General test requires small partial discharge level measurement. This requires of installing HV
audio-interference filter between high voltage reactor and tested device to insure small partial
discharge level measurement.
High voltage filter is composed of L-C-L-C, while L represents isolating resistor, with capacitor
C, they form the filter type π . At the bottom of the first capacitor there is a measuring capacitor,
which acts as a divider and output voltage detector of the resonant system. The second capacitor
is a coupling capacitor, and connected with the partial discharge detector, it can also detect
the partial discharge signal.
Besides, two high voltage capacitors are still the fundamental load of the whole testing circuit,
making the small load testing and the sample testing easier.

6、On-site test and its project
