ABSTRACT Nowadays we hear very often people talking about the usage of cannabis or as most of people simply call it marijuana. A considerable number of people use the subject just for making a dull conversation more interesting without even thinking about the bigger picture, while the road to marijuana addiction is more complex than it seems. To some this drug seems like a way to solve or avoid their problems, even for a short period of time, to others it is a way to spend time recreationally, and then there are the ones who use it to make profits. In America there is a great potential in the industry of legally selling marijuana but in our country people of different ages see it in a different way. This research will try to present the general view and opinion on the acceptance and the refusal of the drug and it will also try to answer the question “Should marijuana be legalized?”

Abstract The main purpose of this essay is to show the way students are motivated nowadays, because motivation undoubtedly represents the main factor towards accomplishing their dreams. This essay will attempt to discuss some possible components that influence students’ learning. It will present the survey conducted to show the points that students find the most and the least influential in their learning. While the level of motivation they retain varies with each individual, very often the reasons they are motivated are not so different.

http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024 Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error. Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials. This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
