Loselling Middle secondary
school
 Improving
Language
through
reading and
writing
FEEL
Problems faced in the school :
No proper drinking water
Congested Car Parking(inside the school
premise)
Students with poor language
Less reading materials for lower classes
• We found that students very weak in reading ,
writing, speaking .
• Library facilities were limited only from class 5 .
• Students who are weak in language had poor
understanding power therefore performed less.
IMAGINE: why the children are
facing language problem?
SOLUTIONS THAT
COULD BE ADOPTED
Get donation from book store
and display in the school during
the off hours.
Practice reading and writing after
school; class wise( this year we will
be conducting from classes four to
six)
Start a new program Known as
“voice of loselling, be updated!; so
as to encourage reading and
writing habit.
“Voice Of Loselling,
Be updated!”
 This program is based on reading news in and
around the school .
 Classes 4 to 6 children are involved in this
show.
Do
 DFC members went to the books stores to ask
book donation and few books stores agreed to
give away library books to us.
 We then displayed the books in the lower classes
block and found out the some students we
interested to read and helped them to read.
 Every day after school ,class 4 had to stay back
to get some guided reading practice from the
English teachers.
 Every Saturday, Voice of Loselling , updated all
the teachers and students by reading them the
news of the week
SHARE
 DFC Voice Of Loselling has been a hit in the
school , which is presented every Saturday to
the school
 DFC presented to Changbangdu Primary
school so that they could also adopt our story
of change.
We have plans to visit some other middle secondary
and higher secondary schools to share our story of
change
