Loratadine is a second generation antihistamine available over-the-counter in tablet and syrup forms. It is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergies, chronic hives, and itching from eczema. Common side effects include headache, drowsiness, and fatigue. Caution should be taken when using loratadine in patients with liver or kidney impairment, elderly patients, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children under 2 years old.

`` Adult and children above 12 years:
1 tablet or 2 teaspoonful once daily
``children 2 – 12 years:
Over 30 kg : 2 teaspoonful once daily
Under 30 kg : 1 teaspoonful once daily
`` children below 2 years :
As recommended by the physician .

`` the rapid relief of symptoms like sneezing, rhinorrhea, ocular itchingand
