To whom it may concern
It gives me great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Kailah Ramsey. I have worked
side-by-side with Kailah for two years now on the Biology PLC team and as athletic coaches at Rouse
High School. As a colleague I quickly developed a sense of respect and admiration for Kailah. She is an
extremely bright, thoughtful, and articulate person and it is obvious that she is passionate about whatever
she does or believes, with a natural ability to engage others.
Working with Kailah on a daily basis it is easy to see that she is a highly focused, energetic, and driven
professional. She consistently takes on challenging roles and performs them over and above what is
expected of her. She is well respected in the science and athletic departments for multi-tasking, getting
things done, meeting short deadlines, and producing outstanding results. It is the norm for Kailah to over-
deliver.
Kailah is a natural leader and doesn't hesitate to assume a leadership role. Her positive attitude, strong
work ethic, teamwork mentality and collaborative efforts resulted in our Biology PLC team becoming one
of the most respected and productive groups on our campus. It is because of Kailah's efforts that our
biology assessment scores increased and our remedial re-test students earned passing scores on state
mandated EOC exams. Throughout the time that I have known Kailah, she has shown time and time
again that she is a positive, motivated leader with amazing potential.
Kailah is also an excellent communicator. Parents receive timely email responses, phone calls, and
conference invitations. Her website is updated regularly and she has an engaging teaching style. She
readily tries new teaching strategies, which accommodates the diverse learning needs of her students.
Kailah is one of the most creative people I have ever worked with and her ability to "think out of the box"
constantly amazes me. Her effective classroom management techniques create a relaxed, safe
environment where her students try new things, take risks and progress academically. Hands on learning
activities, student-centered learning, and project based learning are frequently part of her unit planning.
Kailah is a consummate professional who contributes to a healthy school culture, so students and
teachers thrive. She is a person of integrity who has a wealth of talents to share. Although she will be
greatly missed, I heartily recommend that you hire Kailah and I have no doubt whatsoever that she will be
a tremendous asset to your organization.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance.
Respectfully,
-
L
