I have had the professional pleasure of working with Jordan Brown in the past year as a manager of an IT
Service Contractor at Huntington Ingalls Newport News Shipbuilding. Jordan has been employed by Bell
Techlogix since contract acquisition in 2015. Bell Techlogix’s provision of services includes desk side services and
asset management of the 15,000 or more PC assets of Huntington Ingalls Newport News Shipbuilding and
remote localities. In his day to day services, Jordan has to configure, image, perform data transfers, install user
applications and deliver PC assets to NNS end users located throughout the shipyard’s landscape. His role is very
technical and requires detail work, collaboration with application admin, end users and IT management and
requires excellent coordination and organization skills. These duties Jordan has performed well during this time.
While working as an IT Technician, Jordan also effectively completed his Bachelor of Science Degree program at
Norfolk State University and graduated December of 2015. I observed him to be a hard working and determined
team member. He always remained diligent in his efforts to complete tasks regardless of the timeframe or
problems encountered. He remained resourceful in support and knew who to engage for additional assistance
and direction. He was always level headed and sought productive collaboration from other departments during
difficult times. During the years, he always conveyed a great teamwork attitude and pleasant disposition. He
has shown he is an independent worker and performs his job with professional consideration and integrity.
