The  Big Ben  is a clock tower. Next to the Big Ben there are the houses of Parliament.  It's 96,3  metres  high. The bell inside the clock weights 13 tones. The   tower   weights  8.667  tones. The short hand is 2,7  metres  long and the long hand is 4,3  metres  long.  The   Westminster   Palace  is in  the   north   of   the   river   Thames , in  the   Westminster   city.
