This document summarizes a project to rehabilitate 303 km of road between Lome, Togo and Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The project aims to improve regional integration and facilitate trade by upgrading the critical transport corridor. It will rehabilitate road sections in poor condition in both countries and implement transport facilitation measures. The total estimated cost is 282.5 million euros. A public-private partnership approach is proposed to efficiently construct and maintain the road through risk allocation to private operators and performance-based payments from governments.
