Filming at a house location for the project has several advantages: 1) Weather will not be a problem since shooting is indoors; 2) The rooms are designed specifically for the needs of the film; 3) Most props are already onsite. However, there are also some disadvantages: 1) The family will be home so filming must work around their schedule; 2) All house shots must be completed in one day since that is the only day available to film at the location; 3) Props and equipment need to be transported which increases the risk of damage.

House Advantages Disadvantages Indoors therefore weather will not be problem The rooms are designed exactly how they are needed The majority of the props are already onsite As the film is set in a house it will not break the realism by shooting compared to shooting in a classroom or the media studio. As it is a secure environment props are able to be left at the house which means we don’t have to bring and remember on the day. We are only able to film n this location for one day, so we are not able to re do any shots this means we must get all the house shots done on the first day. As we are filming in the half term most of the family will be home so we will have to work around them. Props and equipment are not on location therefore carrying them to and from location causes a risk in case of any damages

2. On The Road Advantages Disadvantages As the film is set on roadside it will not break the realism. We are filming close to the school this means that if there are any problems it is close by. Not many props are needed on this location which means less hassle The weather may change for the worst which will affect filming on day During certain times of the day the roads can become busy and noisy. We will need to be aware other pedestrians We will need to be aware other cars Props and equipment are not on location therefore carrying them to and from location causes a risk in case of any damages
