The second step involves changing your mind. Any person who is truly wise understands from where this wisdom comes. They adjust their thinking in order to be aligned with this wisdom. In step 2, let’s celebrate wisdom together as I encourage you to change your mind regarding its important aspects.
Once we get into Step 3, it will be time to get serious about your soul to make sure you are not gambling with it. Did you ever here, “craps!” Well, if you have or haven’t, you don’t want to come up short and bust out when it comes to your soul. You will be encouraged in this step to make the right decision—regarding your soul—in this formula of success.
Step 4 brings you to a place of reality-checking. We look over what is required to have success in the way of transformation and heaven. Taking a leap of blind faith isn’t required when you have good, solid evidence and reasons to take an active step of trust. You do it every day and in this step, you will be encouraged as I get into the trenches with you so you can surface, shining like gold!
Finally in Step 5, we’re going to make sure you proceed in a manner which will guarantee your success. Success involves victory and having a game plan. This step will give you that game plan.

Jesus entered Jerusalem through the Eastern Gate, known as the Beautiful Gate, on his triumphal entry. When Jesus returns, he will come back to earth as King of Kings through the same gate. People welcomed Jesus during his first coming by crying out "Hosanna" and laying down palm branches and coats, acknowledging him as the Son of David. Multiple parts of the Bible, including Jesus' own teachings, his ascension, and the book of Revelation, affirm that Jesus will return to earth in the future.
Eating with Misfits
Jesus heals a man with abnormal swelling on the Sabbath in order to demonstrate that doing good works is permitted on the Sabbath. He tells a parable about humility, encouraging people to take the lowest place at a feast so as not to be humiliated. Jesus then instructs a host not to invite friends and family to a feast but rather to invite the poor, crippled, lame and blind, who cannot repay the invitation. When one guest remarks that they are blessed to dine in God's kingdom, Jesus tells a parable about a man who invites many guests to a banquet but they make excuses, so he tells his servant to invite others from the streets instead.
2nd Sunday - Gospel - John 2:1–11-
1) Jesus performs his first miracle at a wedding in Cana by turning water into wine when they ran out of wine.
2) Mary, the mother of Jesus, notices they have no wine and tells Jesus about it. Jesus responds that his time has not yet come but performs the miracle anyway when Mary tells the servants to do whatever he says.
3) The headwaiter is surprised because the best wine was saved for last. This miracle revealed Jesus' glory and his disciples began to believe in him.

Times of refreshing 2 – Jesus is coming
Jesus entered Jerusalem through the Eastern Gate, known as the Beautiful Gate, on his triumphal entry. When Jesus returns, he will come back to earth as King of Kings through the same gate. People welcomed Jesus during his first coming by crying out "Hosanna" and laying down palm branches and coats, acknowledging him as the Son of David. Multiple parts of the Bible, including Jesus' own teachings, his ascension, and the book of Revelation, affirm that Jesus will return to earth in the future.
Eating with Misfits
Jesus heals a man with abnormal swelling on the Sabbath in order to demonstrate that doing good works is permitted on the Sabbath. He tells a parable about humility, encouraging people to take the lowest place at a feast so as not to be humiliated. Jesus then instructs a host not to invite friends and family to a feast but rather to invite the poor, crippled, lame and blind, who cannot repay the invitation. When one guest remarks that they are blessed to dine in God's kingdom, Jesus tells a parable about a man who invites many guests to a banquet but they make excuses, so he tells his servant to invite others from the streets instead.
2nd Sunday - Gospel - John 2:1–11-
1) Jesus performs his first miracle at a wedding in Cana by turning water into wine when they ran out of wine.
2) Mary, the mother of Jesus, notices they have no wine and tells Jesus about it. Jesus responds that his time has not yet come but performs the miracle anyway when Mary tells the servants to do whatever he says.
3) The headwaiter is surprised because the best wine was saved for last. This miracle revealed Jesus' glory and his disciples began to believe in him.

Acts 17:1-11 The World Turned Upside Down
Paul preached in the synagogue in Thessalonica for three Sabbath days, using Scripture to explain that the Messiah had to suffer and rise from the dead. Some Jews and devout Greeks believed, but other Jews were jealous and stirred up a mob against Paul. When they could not find Paul, they dragged his companions before the city authorities, falsely accusing them of defying Caesar's decrees. The people were in an uproar until Paul's companions were freed after paying a bond. Then Paul and Silas left under cover of night to escape further opposition.

concentrates on the true nature of discipleship. In several passages the
disciples are rebuked by Jesus, but in each case the reason for the apparent
sternness of Jesus is clear. The disciples—and the listener—are being
taught the full implications of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. The
main point is stressed repeatedly: to be a disciple of Jesus involves being
prepared to go the way of Jesus, and that means the way of humility,
rejection, and suffering—the way of the Cross. The repetition of ho hodos,
‘the way’, and the associated themes would have made a powerful impact
on the listeners to whom this gospel was read aloud.
In this part of Mark’s story Jesus journeys inexorably towards Jerusalem.
On the way Jesus explains to his disciples three times that ‘The Son of man
must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests
and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again’ (8: 33). The
evangelist underlines the importance of this turning point in his story with
the comment, ‘And he said this plainly.’ Almost identical words are used in
predictions of the forthcoming death and resurrection of Jesus at 9: 31 and
10: 33–4. Since in each case the immediate context is important, we shall
discuss all three passages briefly.
The journey to Jerusalem (which is a partly artificial framework for this
section of the gospel) begins at 8: 27 where Jesus is ‘on the way’ to the
villages of Caesarea Philippi. Jesus asks the disciples, ‘Who do people say
that I am?’ and they answered him, ‘John the Baptist; and others, Elijah;
and still others, one of the prophets.’ These answers are obviously incor-
rect, so when Jesus asks the disciples for their own opinion and Peter
replies, ‘You are the Messiah–Christ’, the listener assumes that Peter’s
answer has correctly disclosed the identity of Jesus. While Peter is not told,
as he is in Matthew’s account of this incident (16: 17), that this insight has
been revealed to him by God, in Mark Peter’s response is not repudiated by
Jesus, even though he is firmly rebuked in the verses which follow.
Jesus rounds on Peter, ‘Get behind me Satan! For you are setting your
mind not on divine things but on human things’ (8: 33). Peter is rebuked
not because of his acknowledgement that Jesus is the Messiah–Christ but
because of his unwillingness to accept that the way of Jesus involves suffer-

Why you need to invest in disciple-making relationships

Lucid Dreaming: Understanding the Risks and Benefits
The ability to control one's dreams or for the dreamer to be aware that he or she is dreaming. This process, called lucid dreaming, has some potential risks as well as many fascinating benefits. However, many people are hesitant to try it initially for fear of the potential dangers. This article aims to clarify these concerns by exploring both the risks and benefits of lucid dreaming.
The Benefits of Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.

This lecture created by Brandon Taylorian (aka Cometan) specially for the CESNUR Conference held Bordeaux in June 2024 provides a brief introduction to the legacy of religious and philosophical thought that Astronism emerges from, namely the discourse on transcension started assuredly by the Cosmists in Russia in the mid-to-late nineteenth century and then carried on and developed by Mordecai Nessyahu in Cosmodeism in the twentieth century. Cometan also then provides some detail on his story in founding Astronism in the early twenty-first century from 2013 along with details on the central Astronist doctrine of transcension. Finally, the lecture concludes with some contributions made by space religions and space philosophy and their influences on various cultural facets in art, literature and film.
