This document provides instructions for a lesson plan aimed at reinforcing knowledge about identity and diversity. The lesson has students reflect on their own identities by creating charts of their personality traits, beliefs, interests and more. It then has them compare charts with classmates to find similarities and differences. Students also explore stereotypes about Colombian people through role plays and a video, discussing both positive and negative characteristics portrayed. The lesson closes by having student teams create posters promoting diversity, respect, and social justice.
