This document provides instructions for a lesson plan aimed at reinforcing knowledge of simple present tense and adjectives while reflecting on identity and diversity. Students will first create charts with 10 personal characteristics, then compare charts to find similarities with classmates. They will then work in groups to role play characteristics of Colombian people based on prompt cards before watching a video about stereotypes of Colombian women. Finally, students will create posters promoting diversity, differences, and social justice. The goal is to learn about identities and diversity through personal reflection and discussion of stereotypes.
