This document provides instructions for an activity to help primary school children practice identifying mistakes in color descriptions. A teacher will read descriptions of a picture showing a boy named Pocoyó at a party, intentionally misstating some colors, and the children should raise their hands to correctly the mistaken colors. The picture includes characters like an octopus, bird, elephant named Elly, and duck named Pato in various colors that will be described inaccurately for the children to catch.

1. LISTEN FOR THE MISTAKE
This activity is for children on 1st level of Primary School. Working the colors.
I’m going to use the first way; I will show you a picture and read about it
making mistakes of colors. You have to realize when I make the mistakes and raise your
hand to correct me, ok? So, let’s go!
This is the picture:
This little boy is Pocoyó, he is wearing a purple (blue) suit and he is jumping.
There is an orange (red) octopus on the right and he has a pink tongue. I can see a black
(blue) table with a piece of watermelon on it and four balloons, which colors are red,
yellow, blue and grey (green). There is a white (green) little bird flying above the party.
Look at the big brown (pink) elephant on the left, she is Elly and is dancing. At the back
there is Pato, he has a yellow (orange) beak and is wearing a green hat.
