This document is a project submission for GPU acceleration of scalar transport equations and Navier-Stokes solvers for incompressible flows. It was submitted by Murali Mohana Krishna Dandu, guided by Prof. Chao-An Lin at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. The project implements scalar transport equation solvers like upwind, CDS, and QUICK on CUDA GPUs. It also implements an incompressible Navier-Stokes solver for lid-driven cavity flow on GPUs using the SIMPLE algorithm on a staggered grid, achieving speedups of 8-10 times compared to CPU simulations.
