Hello Teachers,
Could your classroom use more art supplies to boost your students’ creativity and inspiration? More
chemistry sets to bring out the Niels Bohrs and Marie Curies in all your young scientists? SONIC®,
America’s Drive-In® is again partnering with DonorsChoose.org to support public school teachers and
students by funding classroom projects nationwide. Through Limeades for Learning®, SONIC and its
franchisee partners have donated more than $3.5 million to public school classrooms in local
communities since 2009, and there’s more money available this year for teachers like you.
How it works
From September 22 to October 26 of this year, our SONIC guests vote online for their favorite public
school teacher’s classroom project. Each week in the voting period, projects with the most votes are
selected as winners, and classroom projects are fulfilled! Check out www.LimeadesforLearning.com to
view some of last year’s SONIC funded projects.
Remember, the projects with the most votes will receive funding, so don’t be shy about spreading the
word among your friends, family and coworkers! There are multiple ways to vote:
1. Create an account on www.LimeadesforLearning.com with a valid email address and receive
one vote per day.
2. Visit your local SONIC, make a purchase and receive two extra vote codes on your bag sticker.
3. Vote online ten times and get two extra vote codes via email.
4. Share your vote through social media or email to earn additional votes.
How to participate
Have a great classroom project idea but need help funding it? Head to www.LimeadesforLearning.com
and submit your project today for a chance to receive some of the $700,000 up for grabs this year!
All you’ll need to provide is your name, city, name of your school and grade of your classroom, a
description of your project and a photo. From there, you can share the project online, generate fliers and
track how close it is to being fully funded. You can submit as many projects as you want!
I hope Limeades for Learning is a program that can help you, your students and your school. SONIC’s
heritage is not only about great food and friendly service, but also being part of the community.
I hope you decide to participate! Please let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to
working with you.
Sincerely,
Blake Wolle
