The document proposes a project in Sebring, Florida that would create green jobs and housing for veterans. It would develop 188 homes and a clubhouse through Stone Ridge LLC and also open a 100+ person LED lighting manufacturing facility through Nexphase Lighting Inc. The project aims to train and employ both able-bodied and disabled veterans through partnerships with various organizations. It would establish training programs for green jobs like solar installation, electric vehicle conversion, energy auditing, and green construction that could save taxpayers money compared to other training options.
1. Dear Ms Mielke
Thank you for responding to me so promptly.
I am hoping that with the blessing and cooperation of Ms Grimsley and well as the
cooperation of others on both the State and National level that we can create many new “Green
Collar Jobs “in beautiful Sebring Florida. This community will be transformed into a housing
and job development center for those that served our nation bravely in the armed forces.
The project my partners and I propose would involve the successful completion of my Sebring
Florida called Stone Ridge. The development consists of 188 homes and a clubhouse with many
amenities. The intended use of the project would be to extend “high quality affordable homes” to
veterans and their families. In addition and in conjunction we also have a wonderful program that
concentrates on training and housing and ultimate employment of disabled veterans.
In addition we have a established lighting manufacturing company in south Florida that would
very much like to participate in this project by opening a new manufacturing facility in Sebring
that would employ upwards of 100 ++ veterans to manufacture and assembly new “Energy
Efficient Solid State LED Lighting products”
Through a joint venture between Stone Ridge LLC, Vision Leadership Holdings, Agape solders
of Light and life foundation Inc (a nonprofit corporation) the Veterans administration and
Nexphase lighting Inc we will be able to both train and employ able bodied and disabled veterans
in a the new state of the art manufacturing facility as well as to train veterans for the many new
“Green Collar Jobs” that must be created in order for Florida to allow… “SUNSHINE TO
POWER THE SUNSHINE STATE”
Our training programs would include many new emerging “Green” Jobs.
1, Solar Installation (NABSEP certified)
2, Electric Vehicle Conversion
3, Energy Auditing
4 Green Construction Technologies
Most important Vision Leadership Holdings has a private firm that will finance each student and
use the housing supportive payments to pay off that student loan. This could save the tax payer
up to $3,000 per person trained or as much as $1.1 million per successfully trained class (our
hope is that 1 class will be graduated and employed every year).
I look forward to sharing and building this vision with you
Sincerely Yours
