The lighting design for the play focuses on capturing the darkness and snowstorm outside the diner through the window, incorporating headlights when the bus pulls up twice, and including the dim ceiling lights and neon diner sign described in the original script. Flood lights will provide overall illumination for the stage since the other lighting elements alone would not sufficiently light the production.

I would like to implement headlights through the window to make the play
more realistic.

4. Lights from the ceiling
The play describes two badly shaded light bulbs that dangle from the ceiling.
I would like to incorporate lights from the original script.

5. Neon sign
I would like to incorporate a neon sign with the word “diner” on the corner of
the set.

6. Flood Lights
Since the lighting in the previous slides will not give proper illumination to
the stage, Flood lights will be on the entire production.
