The document discusses different types of photographs and their artistic value. It describes two types - the "time capture" photo that simply records an event, and photos with a "deeper meaning" that elicit emotional reactions. It analyzes two black and white photos by Elliot Erwitt - one of a church near a Native American massacre site that has deeper meaning, and one of a man and child on a bicycle that is a time capture. While Erwitt claims not to intend artistic meaning, the document argues he has an unconscious artistic eye and the bicycle photo is still art due to its perfect setting, despite falling in the time capture category.
Communication involves the passing of information between individuals and organizations through various means. Internal communication occurs within an organization, such as informing staff of a changed meeting time. External communication is between separate organizations, like order confirmations. Advantages of communication methods include quick responses, widespread access, and cost savings compared to travel. However, disadvantages include not seeing who you're communicating with and potential expenses of some methods like video conferencing. Effective communication is important for businesses to pass information correctly and make well-informed decisions.
The short story "Cat in the Rain" by Ernest Hemingway is summarized in 3 sentences: It describes an American couple vacationing in Italy where the wife sees a cat in the rain and wants to rescue it, though her husband makes little effort to help. Their interaction shows a lack of connection between them, as the husband is neglectful and the wife feels ignored. The cat represents the emotional desires of the wife that her husband fails to meet, like her need for affection and companionship.

This document discusses religious tolerance and intolerance. It begins by providing definitions of tolerance as recognizing and respecting beliefs of others, even if disliked or disagreed with. It notes some argue secularism in education promotes tolerance by not requiring participation in specific religious practices. However, others argue their religious beliefs are openly mocked in classrooms. The document advocates teaching about various religions in schools but not requiring participation in specific religious rituals. It also provides examples from the Quran and teachings of Prophet Muhammad showing Islam promotes tolerance of other religions and prohibits harming civilians or exceeding limits that could lead others to abuse their religion.

The film Strictly Ballroom uses lighting, camera techniques, and sound to enhance the progression of the plotline and exemplify essential story elements. Lighting represents the ambition within the main character Scott that is repressed by authority. Camera placement symbolizes a sense of constraint that leads to defiance. Sound embodies Scott's feelings of liberation when he dances to his own steps. One scene uses close-ups and shadowy shots to show Scott learning a doctored truth that leaves him constrained between self-happiness and pleasing others. Another pivotal scene focuses solely on Scott and his dance partner as they perform their own routine, symbolizing their liberation.
Hinduism has evolved over thousands of years without a single founder or religious text. It originated in India, absorbing elements of earlier belief systems and being shaped by environmental, societal, political and economic conditions at the time. The sacred texts of Hinduism like the Bhagavad Gita continue to inform rituals, social organization, and daily life through concepts like dharma (duty according to one's class) and samsara (cycle of rebirth determined by karma).

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.

Life Goals Essay
1. Life Goals Essay
When I was a high school student, I wanted nothing more than to put my schooling experience
behind me. The day that I graduated, I thought to myself, "finally! I am done!" After everything
settled down after graduation, I got a job as a shift supervisor at a Boston Market in Littleton,
Colorado. After about a year of working there, I realized that I wanted a better life for myself. So
what does one do when they want a better life and their parents can't talk them into going to college?
They join the Military. So, in August of 2006, that is exactly what I did. Just about four years later,
I finally realized that to get anywhere in this world now a days, you need to have some form of a
college education. The main reason why I am attending...show more content...
I am terrified of any new changes in my life. Whether it be from a PCS, a new person in my life,
or bungee jumping (which I have forced myself to do more than once), I am scared of it. By
going to school, I hope to somehow overcome this fear of life, because I am going to be dealing
with new things all of the time. I need the fulfillment of knowing that I will finish what I start, as
well as finish with a bang. I am hoping that college will give me some of the confidence that I
need to live my life as I want to in the long run. The key to being successful in life, is knowing
what kind of things will help you to be the successful person that you want to be. I have been
blessed with the ability to finish what I start no matter what the cost. I guess that is the OCD in
me talking, because if I can't finish something rather quickly, or when I plan for it to be
completed, it drives me insane. One thing that drives me to be successful is knowing that I
desperately need this education. I plan on getting out of the military in 2012 when my enlistment
is up. Basically, I need something to turn to when that day comes. Support from my family and
friends with my decision to return to school, is really what drives me to be successful at this. With
them behind me, I can do anything. I do not want to disappoint them, or myself, with failure. There
are definitely going to be some sacrifices on my part to be able to be successful at

Life Goals In my life, I hope to be successful in everything that I endeavor, even though I know
that it is likely I will meet with some failure. Each person that I have encountered thus far in life
has helped me become the person that I am and has molded the person that I will eventually be.
So far I have not concretely decided what it is that I want out of life in terms of an occupation. I
know that there are fields which I have more interest in than others but I am still uncertain about
what path my life will take. This sometimes concerns me, but then I performed some research and
learned that many people were at places even in their late thirties before they discovered their
calling in life. By setting positive life goals for myself, I have a better chance of seeing my
wishes fulfilled (Schmuck 2001). In the immediate future, I hope to pass my current classes with
good grades in order to keep up and perhaps even improve my GPA. In the near future, I hope to
finish school and find a job which appeals to my personality and which I will enjoy. My long term
goals are to reach the apex of my field of choice and to leave this world having been a success
both in terms of finances and in my personal life. I hope to have a family and to be a figure in my
community whom others respect and admire. I want to set an example of behavior for my children,
my grandchildren, and all the others who come after me. For my short–term goals, I have looked to

Life goals essay There are many goals in my life that I would love to achieve. I am only 15 years old
so I can't write as much as someone twice my age so to say, but I strictly know my high school
goals, college goals, career goals, and personal goals. As a 15 year old I have a lot already planned
out so I will soon see how close I follow my goals. My first and most important high school goal I
have is to finish school with a G.P.A. 3.8 or higher. I can not stress enough how important this
goal is to me, for this goal will enable me to a higher possibility of getting into the college of my

school I can. By reaching and achieving this goal it will make my career goals easier to
overcome. I have started to research different medical schools also I have been focused on the
medical schools with an accelerated program. To achieve this goal I have I will have to get my
bachelors and master degrees, then I will continue on to accept my medical doctorate. I have
talked to doctors about what college they went to and how long it took them to finish the
accelerated program if they chose that option. I still need to go to college and be accepted into a
medical school. After I receive my medical doctorate I would like to continue on and study a
specialty specifically in dermatology which will allow me to say I'm a certified doctor in the
medicine. This will also enable me to open a medical practice just for dermatology and guide
patients with the correct medicine, creams, face scrub etc... In the ninth grade I did a project in
Biology on dermatologist and I had to go around town and interview the local dermatologist this
opened my eyes to what I would like to do with my life. I furthered my study after this project and
this practice really caught my eye so to say, also my mom and I have came close friends with a
dermatologist

4. Essay about Life Goals
Even though next value comes last on the list, it is not far behind in the importance from
previous two. Education is another very important part of my life. I truly believe it's the key to a
happy and successful life. As a child I was encouraged by my father to do well in school, while
many of my friends were playing outside my dad made me sit home and practice equations.
Growing up in Russia, I knew there won't be any opportunities of attending a college, because of
ethnic discrimination. Without my father's approval, my brother took very popular for Turkish

was going to be my future too, but I was doing excellent in all my classes,...show more content...
I am off to a bad start in college, but I know it will change. It's my goal. There are two types of goals,
long term and short term. Whets the difference? Short term goals deal with objectives you want to
accomplish within few days or months. Long term goals deal with objectives that set up year or
more ahead. Both of them play very important role in persons live. Although long term goals tend
to summaries person's whole life plans and seem to be more effective, having short term goals is
as crucial, because they, step by step make you reach big goals. One of my short term goals is to
change my education habits. In the next semester I am planning not to procrastinate and try to do
my assignments with all the effort and potential I have. I also plan on seeking more advisement
and tutoring help. In the next semester I am aiming for GPA above 3.5. In addition to that,
hopefully, looking forward to declare a major When it comes to long term goals, I haven't made
any specific ones, mainly because I have not decided what path to take. In general, in four years I'm
envisioning myself with a degree and good, solid job. Since bachelor's degree not an enough these
days, I will go to a Graduate school. I don't want to be a millionaire or someone who owns a
corporation or anything big. I see myself as a good worker at the company, who makes enough to

5. My Personal Goals Essay
As a child and even as a teenager one tends to make dreams and set goals for life. On occasion these
goals are far stretched and sometimes even fairy–tale like, we tend to see life through a rose–colored
glass, not taking into account the many sidetracks life throws our way. At that stage in life our goals
tend to be less focused and somewhat unreachable. However, the process of growing up, or
maturing, tends organized and center our goals, we learn to make compromises and set goals for
our goals. There are different types of goals, short term and long term. I have learned to separate the
many goals I have into three main categories: family, professional and personal.
First, my family goals include how I see myself and how I see my...show more content...
I have planned monthly individual date nights with my children, so that they can have my undivided
attention for a certain period of time.
The second family short term goal takes into account my marriage. In order to raise happy and
healthy children, a happy and healthy relationship with one's spouse is paramount. In order to
achieve this goal my husband and I have decided to also dedicate more time for the two of us. For
the next year we have made an agreement to take at least one vacation together, so that we may
increase the bond that brought us together. We have also decided that for the next three year we
will spend Holidays as a family so that we may create our own family traditions, we will do
whatever is in our power to spend Holidays together, that includes not working or making other plans
with the rest of our immediate families.
On many occasions my personal goals have come before my professional aspirations. A career in
the medical field has always been something I have looked forward to. As a child I wanted and
dreamed of being a doctor, however due to the choices I made in life and the priorities that I had
not thought of, I have come to realize that my childhood dream may not come true. Yet, I was
able to compromise and make short and long term goals that will lead me into a career in the
medical field. My long term goal is to enter the medical field world and be a respected contributor
to it. I want to be able to help others in the time of need. In

6. My Life Goal Paper
My life goal is to become a family nurse practitioner and serve as a primary healthcare provider
for rural areas such as Amarillo along with its surrounding locality. Healthcare in rural areas is
often limited or inaccessible, which often impairs the patient's outcome, limits educational
awareness, and leads to a shortage of support services for families. Once established, I would
desire to open a clinic to serve those whom are particularly susceptible to the diseases of poverty
such as those belonging to the lower income, rural, or minority demographic. Poverty increases the
risk for chronic diseases and mental disorders, for instance, depression, malnutrition, and infant
mortality are more prevalent among the poor. My objective is to provide

7. Life Goals Essay
Thomas Carlyle once said, "Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you will see farther." I
strongly believe that if one plans on achieving his aspirations, setting goals is a very important
step. Having goals not only gives you a clear focus on things, but it also helps you to organize your
plans by allowing you to give yourself time limits and boundaries. That is why I try to set goals for
myself routinely, whether it is just for one day, or for the rest of my life. One goal that I work hard
at daily is to do well in high school. I try to involve myself in any activity that I can, both
academically and socially, so that I can graduate with honors. The reason I do this is because I plan
on going to college, and I would like to be...show more content...
I will also be ready to buy my first car, and then, my first home. My intentions are to live in
Oregon. Before I turn fifty, one of my major goals is to start a private investigator business. My
children will be put through college and out of my house, and my wife and I will be on our way
to retirement, after we sell our business. By then, I plan on being very stable, if not rich. Either
way, I will be able to donate money and give back to my community what they have given to me. I
also plan on adopting or fostering children after my own kids move out. I see my goals as
tangible, and they are well within my reach if I stretch my arms to touch them. I work hard for
these things not only to make a good life for myself, but to make a wonderful life for my future
children. Setting goals for myself prevents me from becoming sidetracked, and it allows me to push
harder and further for my aspirations. If I maintain my focus, nothing will ever defer my

8. Goals In Life
My life, dreams, and goals are exciting because I have no clue what my future holds. I love to be
very organized, but sometimes my plans change very quickly. My Mom is always telling me to "
trust God in everything because it is all in His control." In my life I want to give it my all if it is
something big or even if it is something small. I want to be successful and reach my goals and
dreams in life, but if I want to reach them I must work hard." Being successful looks easy to those
that were not there when it was being earned." My family is always working hard in everything.
There is a total eight in my family, counting me. I love them so much and I am so glad that God
blessed me with them. They love God and I thank Him for giving me...show more content...
I also love to be organized and I clean to relieve stress. Cleaning is something I enjoy to do. I just
turned sixteen and I seriously have been cleaning since I was like five. Since, I just turned sixteen
I can finally drive myself to places and practice. I just pray that God will keep me safe as I drive.
There are many unique and exciting things about my dreams. I dream about winning a state
championship in basketball before I graduate. Basketball means so much to my family. I know
that everyone would be so proud if my team won a state championship, but even if we don't I will
still praise God for my team. Also, I know that my parents will always be proud of me no matter
what. One athlete that has stood out to me for a long time is Tim Tebow. He is such a godly man.
I got to meet him in person one time and I could feel that he truly loved everyone and especially
God. Someday I hope to marry him or someone that is at least half as amazing as him. One thing I
would love to do is go on a mission trip. I have friends that are missionaries in Hawaii and hopefully
one day I can go see them. Some more things I would like to do are become a cosmetologist and be
in an Disney movie. I wanted to be in High School Musical, but that didn't happen. Possibly
someday I could do makeup for people that are in Disney movies. Whatever I do though I want it
to be Gods plan for my life. There are many unique and exciting things about my goals. My first goal
in life is to

9. Why I Want To Become An Engineer
My whole life I have always wanted to become a successful engineer, and graduate from the
University of Cincinnati. Some of my goals in life are to go to the University of Cincinnati.
Another one of my goals is to become some type of engineer. But as of right now I would like to be
a aerospace engineer. To be honest I really don't know what influenced me to want to become and
engineer. But something about engineering always appealed to me for some reason. But lately my
engineering teacher has had a positive impact on me and is really making me like engineering and
the overall field. So I guess that Mr. Smith has influenced me into being an engineer. My plan b is
to be an engineer too. But this type of engineering would just be easier to...show more content...
To be honest I really don't read any particular publications about engineering but I never really
have a chance to. Also I really don't know where I could get a publications or articles about
engineering. The extracurricular activities that I participate in are golf. To be honest I do not do
any volunteer work but I do plan to get some hours before I graduate. I think volunteering is good
for engineers because that will help them develop good people skills. So in the end I think that
volunteering will help future engineers with there people skills.
As of right now I have high expectations for engineering. I feel that engineering will be a great
field for me and I will have a great career. But I feel that at times is going to be very hard and
challenging but I believe that in the end it will all be worth it. Really when it comes down to
your duties for engineering it really just depends on what type of engineer you are and how high
up you are in your company. From the information I have found I would only have to work the
average nine to five workdays and I would get off weekends if I became and aerospace engineer.
The lowest 10 percent for an aerospace engineer is 59,610 a year . Which I feel is great because
half the people in America don't make that much money. Also you have to think that 59,610 is the
lowest 10 percent so you could make much more. The work
