In a recent webinar for MacBites Learning dedicated to showing several of the Adobe Touch Apps I demonstrated just how simple it is to edit photographs and design anytime, any place, anywhere with Adobe Photoshop Touch. I also delivered demonstrations of Adobe Proto, Adobe Collage, Adobe Color Lava and Adobe Nav for Photoshop.
This is the slide based section of that webinar and includes links to several videos of the demonstrations.

This presentation highlights the key developments in 2016 in the category of Mobile and Internet. Further it has different slides focusing on different statistics which highlight 100% growth in rural internet population.
Why blogging should be at the heart of your content marketing strategy. How from one idea you can write a blog article to feature as as an information hub from which spokes like social media posts, press releases, even advertorials can be created.
As a Technical Illustrator, it is my responsibility to solve challenging visual problems with a simple solution. Details in drawings have to be accurate and show complexity in a simple design. I create images for newspapers, magazines and manufacturers in various industries such as automotive, aerospace and technological industries. Drawing types include phantom views, cutaways, exploded views and how-to manual illustrations.

In our discussions around testing, we usually tend to focus on WHAT we are building. Our context revolves around the application under test. We rarely stop and think HOW we develop and deliver our software. How do we navigate between Build, Test and Deploy stages?
Nowadays, in approaches such as Continuous Delivery, we aim to develop software faster, in a way that is more robust. Techniques like infrastructure-as-code or pipeline-as-code bring us an additional aspect of testing - we are now creating even more software helping us build the actual application.
Does your delivery process support quality? Does the way your team makes deployments get the same attention that your application gets? Who checks your build or release process? Who takes care of your delivery pipeline? Who is your... plumber?
In my talk, I would like to shed more light on the often neglected problems related to designing, developing and testing delivery pipelines and, most importantly, show how this knowledge might affect the way you approach testing. Examples will be based on my adventures with building web applications using tools like Maven, Jenkins Pipelines, and Chef, but I will also talk about the more important aspect - communication.
Key takeaways:
- awareness of how the delivery pipeline might influence your approach to testing
- what to focus on when designing pipelines
- what to look after during testing them
- what are example problems you might encounter?
- why tools will not solve all your problems
I made an overview tutorial on how to use a new slate for google forms for beginners. I hope you check it out and hope it helps!

Numerous experimental researchers prove prejudice is an unfavorable and preoccupied judgment directed towards a specific group or individual. Initial research that was carried out in the occurrence in 1920s proves that there exists hierarchical supremacy. The theorist made the discovery that prejudice originates from authoritarian individuals segmenting the society in the basis of hierarchical as well as abnormal judgment. In his 1979 analysis, Thomas clearly defined negative attributes on the experience of the global out-group.

Webinar: How To Build A Bot With Cisco Spark And Built.io FlowBuiltio
Bots are an easy way to automate complex tasks that require retrieving information from multiple systems. When they’re implemented, they ensure teams are more productive by making information more accessible, faster. In this webinar, we’ll show you how to build a bot using Cisco Spark and Built.io Flow. Cisco Spark is the leading enterprise tool that helps modern teams work together from anywhere at any time - with group messaging, content sharing, video calling, and desktop sharing. Built.io Flow is an enterprise-grade integration platform that enables both business teams and developers to seamlessly connect tools, devices, and services, ensuring disparate systems work together. Together, these tools are primed for maximum productivity in the workplace, especially when paired with bots.
It is changing -- and there's a desire to find new ways to deliver applications and services -- to serve the business. Our own Don Frame and Gina Hefner address these challenges specifically for the public sector...

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
