This document is a mid-term evaluation for libraries that have received support from Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) to become community managed libraries. It asks for details about the type of support received, level of satisfaction with support, and suggestions for future support. Community managed libraries involved and types of support include training, funding, business planning, volunteer recruitment and management, and networking events. Support officers provided assistance with setting up community groups, developing business plans, legal structures, and policies/procedures. Respondents are asked to rate their agreement on the usefulness of support received and to provide comments on best things about support, ways to improve, and future support needs.
