This document outlines the process by which Christians are made according to Acts 10. It describes how the Holy Spirit convicts, empowers, and reveals, culminating in the Holy Spirit giving life. It provides biblical references to support this process, including Cornelius's vision calling him to faith, Peter's vision revealing God's acceptance of Gentiles, and the Holy Spirit falling upon those who heard Peter's message before he could finish preaching.
The document discusses the Ark of the Covenant from the Old Testament, describing it as the most important object in Israel's history as it represented God's presence among his people. It provides 30 parallels between attributes of the Ark and attributes of Jesus Christ, such as both being anointed and leading God's people. It also lists other facts about the Ark's construction, measurements, and role in Israelite worship before God's presence departed from it due to their sins.
The document discusses the role of the High Priest in the Torah and how Yeshua fulfills this role. It notes how the High Priest made atonement for sins, was the judge between people, and bore the names of Israel. Various passages indicate Yeshua as the final High Priest who provides forgiveness and salvation. The document argues Yeshua acted as High Priest even on the cross by interceding for Israel with God.

This document provides an overview of a sermon given at First Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi on November 12, 2017. The sermon discusses the biblical concept of the priesthood as established in Leviticus chapters 9 and 10, including God's ordination of Aaron and his sons as the first priests and their offering of sacrifices. It also examines the story of Nadab and Abihu being killed for offering "unauthorized fire" and defines a biblical theology of worship, emphasizing that worship must be in spirit and truth, with reverence and obedience to God.
The document discusses 1 Peter 2:4-10, which talks about Christians being living stones built into a spiritual house. It notes that while Christ was rejected by men, he is precious to God. Believers in Christ will not be disappointed. The passage says believers are a chosen race, royal priesthood, and holy nation belonging to God. They were called out of darkness into God's light and have received mercy.
Dios ordenó la construcción de un tabernáculo para habitar entre los hijos de Israel. El tabernáculo tenía dos partes: el Lugar Santo y el Lugar Santísimo, separados por un velo. Moses built the tabernacle exactly as God commanded. God's presence was then manifested through a cloud by day and fire by night. The tabernacle served as a portable temple where God dwelt among the Israelites and met with them through Moses and the priests. It provided symbolism of God's rule over the people and a place for worship, sacrifices, and drawing near to God according to his instructions.
Our God has promised that where He sees the Blood, He will save. It is important to know that we can daily apply the Blood of the Lamb of God upon ourselves and our household.
This passage describes a vision Ezekiel receives from God showing the idolatrous practices happening in the temple in Jerusalem. In the vision, Ezekiel is taken by the Spirit to the temple where he sees various forms of idolatry, including people worshipping idols, women mourning the death of the pagan god Tammuz, and men bowing to the rising sun with their backs turned towards the temple. God expresses his anger over his people committing idolatry and filling the temple with unclean images, showing that their priority is on other gods instead of the Lord.
The document describes God commanding Moses to build an altar and detailing its specifications. It was to be made of acacia wood and be square, five cubits long and wide and three cubits tall, with horns on its corners and overlayed in bronze. It also describes making pots, shovels, basins, forks and fire pans for the altar's ashes, making a bronze grating and rings, and poles to carry the altar. The altar was to teach about the need for substitutionary sacrifice to receive forgiveness, as their best was not good enough, and limitations of continual animal sacrifices that could not fully take away sins.
Isaiah has a vision of God on His heavenly throne surrounded by angels called seraphim. When Isaiah sees the glory and holiness of God, he becomes aware of his own sinfulness. One of the seraphim touches Isaiah's lips with a burning coal to purify him. In response to God's question of who will spread His message, Isaiah volunteers. God then commissions Isaiah to deliver a difficult message to the people - that they will hear God's word but not understand or perceive its meaning. Isaiah is to make the people's hearts and ears unwilling or unable to receive God's message.
When the Corinthians come together as a church, it is not for the better but for the worse, as there are divisions among them and they lack faith. The document discusses the Christian belief in resurrection from physical death based on several Bible passages. It defines resurrection from physical death as meaning that after a person dies physically, their soul continues to live spiritually. While some were resurrected temporarily by prophets and Jesus, true resurrection will occur after final judgment. The afterlife involves either eternal punishment or eternal life depending on one's deeds, and both righteous and unrighteous souls await final judgment in temporary places that are described as either paradise or torment.
This document provides a summary of Revelation chapter 5 from a sermon given at First Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi. It describes John's vision of a sealed scroll in God's right hand that only the worthy Lamb (Jesus) is able to open. When the Lamb takes the scroll, the 24 elders and living creatures praise Him for redeeming people by His blood. Countless angels then join in declaring the Lamb worthy to receive power, wealth, wisdom and other attributes for opening the scroll. The sermon highlights how the Lamb's opening of the scroll begins His enthronement to reign on Earth.

The Lord has restored plain and precious truths through modern prophets to help us come unto Him. According to the passage, the Bible was corrupted by a great and abominable church removing many plain and precious parts. However, the Book of Mormon and other latter-day scriptures establish the truth of the Bible by restoring lost truths. Prayer and revelation are essential to understanding scripture, as Nephi learned through inquiring of the Lord about his father's visions.

God created the angels as the first spiritual beings. Angels are spiritual beings created by God to serve and worship Him. They were God's first creation and were made to carry out His will. The Bible references angels throughout and describes them as messengers and servants of God. There are also descriptions of different types of angels that make up the nine choirs or spheres in heaven.

Ezekiel was a prophet called by God to serve as a watchman for Israel. Through symbolic actions like lying on his side for 430 days and preaching, Ezekiel warned Israel of coming judgment for their sins and idolatry. He also had visions of Israel's future restoration, including receiving a new heart and spirit, dry bones coming to life, and the rebuilt temple. Ezekiel prophesied of a time when Satan will be bound for 1000 years and Christ will rule during the Millennial Kingdom before the final battle and judgment. The Minor Prophets also warned Israel and surrounding nations while offering hope for the future through messages focused on obedience, justice, and restoration.
Deuteronomy: an introduction 12 july 2020Rodney Tan
The document provides an overview of the book of Deuteronomy, including its:
1) Title, theme of remembering God's commands and past faithfulness;
2) Authorship attributed to Moses for sermons delivered before Israel entered the Promised Land;
3) Influence on the Old and New Testaments through its repetition of God's law and Jesus' quotation of passages.
The document discusses the authority that Satan and his demons have over sinners and saints. It examines Satan's names in Hebrew and Greek which mean "adversary", "accuser", and "devil". While Satan and his demons can influence and tempt people, their power is limited and not omnipotent. The document asserts that through Christ's death, he destroyed Satan's power over death. It encourages believers to stand firm in faith against Satan's schemes by putting on the full armor of God.

This document discusses spiritual gifts mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12. It notes that all abilities and talents are gifts from God. It outlines four periods in history when God performed miracles through prophets to authenticate their message. While some gifts like prophecy and healing occurred in the early church, the document argues that miraculous gifts have ceased and the church should rely on Scripture alone rather than seeking signs and wonders. It also discusses the "gift of tongues" mentioned in 1 Corinthians and contends that modern displays of tongues do not align with the biblical purpose and guidelines.
The document provides an overview of how to properly study the book of Revelation. It discusses avoiding eisegesis, or reading into the text one's own ideas, and instead using exegesis to let the text speak for itself in context. Major views of the end times like pre-tribulation and post-tribulation are examined. The millennium period is described as Christ's 1,000 year reign on earth where God's purposes will be fully realized and Israel will enjoy promised blessings. The rapture refers to believers being caught up to heaven.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

20. “Torah” Can Mean
• Pentateuch (five volumes)
• The Law (or Teaching)
• 5 Books of Moses
• All the O.T. (or Tanakh)
• All Jewish law (Bible and Talmud)
• Torah can include all the oral teachings or
traditions of the rabbis
• Some Jews refer to, "Torah that is written,
and…Torah that is spoken“ Wikipedia
23. “Torah”, I.S.B.E
• “1. Torah ("Law"): “ Heb: Torah is from Heb: horah, the
Hiphil of Heb: yarah. The root meaning is "to throw";
hence, in Hiphil the word means "to point out" (as by
throwing out the hand), and so "to direct"; and Heb: torah
is "direction." Heb: Torah may be simply "human
direction," as the "law of thy mother" in Prov 1:8; but most
often in the Old Testament it is the Divine law. In the
singular it often means a law, the plural being used in the
same sense; but more frequently Heb: torah in the singular
is the general body of Divinely given law. The word tells
nothing as to the way in which the Law, or any part of it,
was first given; it simply points out the general purpose of
the Law, namely, that it was for the guidance of God's
people in the various matters to which it relates….”
24. Torah
• The Hebrew word Torah may be referring to
human direction, teaching, instruction, or
Divine, either written or oral.
25. What does Torah mean in Hebrew?
(An insight from Dr. Eli)
• Leviticus 11:46 This is the law [torah] regarding the animal and the
bird, and every living thing that moves in the waters and everything
that swarms on the earth,
• What does Torah mean in Hebrew? (An insight from Dr. Eli)
• The word “Torah” most often refers to the Five Books of Moses.
Although the Torah contains many stories, such as those of Cain and
Abel, the Exodus from Egypt, as well as the story of Abraham’s life,
it also contains various laws, statutes and commandments.
• But what does Torah actually mean in Hebrew?
• Simply put the word “Torah” means teaching, instruction and even
direction. The root of the word comes from the verb LiR’ot, which
illustrates the idea of hitting a target while throwing/shooting
something.
• Yours, Dr. Eli, Eli.Lizorkin@eteachergroup.com
26. Leviticus 10:12, Eleazar and Ithamar
• Leviticus 10:12 Then Moses spoke to Aaron,
and to his surviving sons, Eleazar and Ithamar,

• Lev 11:1 Clean and Unclean Food
29. Ritual Purity in Israel,
The Archaeological Study Bible
• The Archaeological Study Bible on page 166 says; "Israel's
purity laws (Lev 11–15), the details of which are
unparalleled in any other ancient near Eastern literature,
reminded the Israelites of the gaping divide between
themselves and their holy God (cf. 10:3) and of God's
burning desire for them to become like him in purity
(11:44–45; 19:1–2; cf. Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:48). These
laws also taught the Israelites that there uncleanness
resulted not from demonic powers, as was widely believed
in the broader world around them, but from disobedience
to God's law. Even more fundamentally, uncleanness or
ritual impurity (the condition that barred an individual from
God's presence in the sanctuary) was a state that occurred
in all people from time to time, simply by virtue of their
human nature (cf. Lev12; 15).”
30. Central Theme Of Leviticus
• Lev. uses the word “uncleanness” more times than any
other NAS book (9 X’s).
• Lev. uses the word “unclean” more times than any

• Solution= Sacrifices that look toward Christ
• Chapters 1-7 are the offerings, 5 voluntary then 2

32. Why Did God Make These Distinctions
Between Clean And Unclean Foods?
• Some think that God was arbitrarily testing the Israelites.
This would be to test their obedience.
• Some think there was a pagan association with eating the
unclean animals which God did not want.
• Some think it's all a large allegory. That somehow certain
animals represented bad characteristics like gluttony or
dirtiness.
• Many think that God did it for hygienic reasons, that before
the advent of antibiotics and other modern medicines,
people were better off to avoid the unclean animals.
• KJV Exodus 19:5 …if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep
my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me
above all people…
33. Why Did God Make These Distinctions
Between Clean And Unclean Foods?

chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself,
above all the nations that are upon the earth.
• Deuteronomy 26:18, Psalm 135:4, 1 Peter 2:9
34. Why Did God Make These Distinctions
Between Clean And Unclean Foods?
• Exodus 19:6 and you shall be to Me a kingdom of
priests and a holy nation.' These are the words
that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.“
• Obedient, unique, separate, distinct, holy,
consecrated, apart from the nations to be in His
presence, to receive His Word, Messiah, etc.

38. Good News For You
Lobster/Catfish Eaters
Acts 10:9 …Peter went up on the
housetop …fell into a trance; 11 and he
saw the sky opened up, and an object
like a great sheet coming down,
lowered by four corners to the ground,
12 and there were in it all kinds of
four-footed animals and crawling
creatures of the earth and birds of the
air. 13 A voice came to him, "Get up,
Peter, kill and eat!" 14 But Peter said,
"By no means, Lord, for I have never
eaten anything unholy and unclean."
15 Again a voice came to him a second
time, "What God has cleansed, no
longer consider unholy."
