To whom it may concern,
Jaclyn Doino has been a valued member of our teaching staff here at IES Tirso de
Molina, a bilingual high school, for the past two years. Jackie worked as an assistant
teacher in English, Science, Physical Education, and Art, and also worked diligently to
prepare students for the University of Cambridge ESOL exams. Her flexibility allowed
her to easily adapt her teaching styles to this wide range of disciplines and helped her
to form great relationships with each of the 15 teachers with whom she worked.
Jackie has been an energetic, conscientious, and easily-relatable member of our
institution. After finishing her first year of teaching, the English teachers requested she
work with them for a second year due to her optimistic outlook and unique ability to
reinvent the wheel. The teachers with whom she has worked have expressed their
appreciation of her willingness to take initiative, her resourcefulness, and her pleasant
demeanor. She brought a contagious smile to every class she taught as well as to the
numerous field trips she took part in.
Jackie’s work was also dedicated to teaching English to the teachers during her first
year as an assistant, providing unique insights to help them learn quickly and be able
to express themselves in a language other than their native tongue. She also played
an important role in preparing students for the Official Cambridge ESOL exams, which
now form a core part of the Spanish curriculum from elementary school to the college
level. She especially did an exceptional job working with paired students to prepare
them for these exams, as she has a knack for making people feel comfortable and at
ease.
It is with great pride that I am able to provide Jackie with a recommendation of her
consistent professionalism and drive for excellence.
Sincerely,
José María Alonso López
Principal of IES Tirso de Molina
