It is a distinct pleasure to recommend Anne Hallock, an individual of great character and talent. It
has been my pleasure to know Anne as a colleague as well as a parent of children in our school. In both
capacities I’ve seen Anne demonstrate a level of knowledge, caring, talent and understanding that is to be
commended.
Regarding Anne's character as an employee, a number of distinct qualities immediately come to mind.
First and foremost, Anne is a person of great integrity. Anne has strong beliefs and convictions
regarding herself as an individual. Everything she does is grounded on being a person of high integrity.
Anne also demonstrates a strong work ethic which is complimented by wonderful skills in working with
people. Most impressive and complimentary to Anne's work ethics and skills is her ability to apply her
knowledge and experiences to new challenges. In the course of one year I watched Anne assume two
different roles as an employee of the school that were new to her. She first assumed the challenges of
filling in as the school’s Admissions Coordinator with ease. Her organizational skills as well as her strong
interpersonal skills were exceptionally appreciated while assuming the position. It should be noted that
her substitute role in that position went so well that she was slated to take on a role permanently in the
admissions office in the coming year. I also had the opportunity to see Anne apply her talents to another
role that was new to her. For five months following her work in the admissions office, Anne was employed
as an educational assistant for a student with Downs Syndrome. Like the admissions work, this was also
very new to her, but through great determination and patience she effectively rose to the challenge and
applied her talents to a whole new role. Most impressive to me in both positions was the level of caring
and understanding that were evident and necessary for the quality services she was able to provide. In
both instances, the people she worked with knew they were valued and important.
Although I am extremely impressed with and confident in Anne's talents as an employee, I know that
her greatest demonstration of her talents and dedication is to her family. Anne is an exceptional parent
to two wonderful children. She and her husband are great supporters of their children’s growth and
experiences. Not only do they have high aspirations for their children, they also model their
expectations and contribute to the opportunities that are important in their children’s lives. I have no
doubt that the legacy of Anne Hallock will be measured as much by the success of her children as by any
other job she holds.
I am encouraged to know people like Anne Hallock, who approach every challenge with enthusiasm and
optimism. Anne has shown me that she is ready for any challenge that is thrown before her. She is an
exceptional individual that I am privileged to know. I strongly encourage anyone looking for a quality
individual to give her serious consideration.
