To whom it may concern,
I had the pleasure of working with Ana Cristina Berbel Cascales on a
volunteering internship called the Second Language Acquisition Program with
AIESEC Melbourne during the period January - February 2013. During the
internship, Ana taught Beginner’s Spanish to students at the University of Melbourne
for 6 weeks. Due to her excellent performance in the 2012 program, she was invited to
participate in the internship again in 2013. The topics that were covered over the
course of the program ranged from basic greetings to short sentences, with Ana
ensuring the students receive a well-rounded beginners’ understanding of Spanish.
Ana was very well organised and always prepared her notes prior to each class. She
was very engaging in her teaching style which greatly facilitated the students’ learning
and made the classes enjoyable and interactive. She responded to any feedback she
received in a positive manner and was proactive in developing new cultural exercises
for the students. During the course of the program, she worked very well with the
organising team and was hardworking in delivering the best possible learning
experience for the students. As such, her excellent teaching played a crucial part in the
success of the program. I believe she will display an equal level of conscientiousness
and thus, would like to recommend her for future teaching roles.
Yours sincerely,
