This letter is a request to the Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the Philippines to provide a travel grant to Dr. Augie E. Fuentes. Dr. Fuentes submitted an abstract of an institutional project on mangrove resource management and aquasilviculture in Davao del Sur that was accepted for presentation at an international conference in Hong Kong. The college does not have available funding to support international travel for such a presentation. The college president endorses Dr. Fuentes' application to the CHED travel grant program to help fund her participation in the conference.
