King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had a troubling dream that he could not remember. He demanded that his wise men tell him both the dream and its meaning, but they were unable to do so. Daniel, one of the wise men, asked for time to pray to his God about the dream. That night, God revealed the dream and its meaning to Daniel. The next day, Daniel told the king both the dream, which involved a large statue made of different materials that was destroyed, and its meaning, which was that future kingdoms would rise and fall. The king was impressed with Daniel's God.
