• Example: 21 is the multiple of 7 and 3;
since 3x7=21

4. Example: List the multiples of 2:
• 2 x 0 = 0
• 2 x 1 = 2
• 2 x 2 = 4
• 2 x 3 = 6
• 2 x 4 = 8
• 2 x 5 = 10
• 2 x 6 = 12

So, the multiples of 2
are 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12,
14, etc………….

5. Example: List the multiples of 3:
• 3 x0= 0
• 3 x 1 = 3
• 3x 2 = 6
• 3 x 3 = 9
• 3 x 4 = 12
• 3 x 5 = 15
• 3 x 6 = 18

So, the multiples of 3 are 0, 3,6,
9,12,15,18,24…. etc………….

6. Example: List the multiples of 5:
• 5x0=0
• 5 x 1 = 5
• 5 x 2 = 10
• 5 x 3 = 15
• 5 x 4 = 20
• 5 x 5 = 25
• 5 x 6 = 30

are 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25,
