This document provides a vocabulary of LEGO WeDo parts, including bricks, plates, beams, motors, sensors, mini-figures and other specialized pieces. It describes standard bricks based on their dimensions and notes that specialty bricks include curved pieces, hinges and roof elements. The document images and names a variety of common LEGO components like gears, axles, hubs and plates to familiarize the reader with building pieces for the LEGO WeDo system.

• Are named by the dimensions of the brick.
Bricks have a standard height, which is
considered the base unit in Lego terminology.
