The North Carolina National Guard is seeking qualified applicants to occupy a contract position at the Joint Force
Headquarters, North Carolina National Guard, 1636 Gold Star Drive, Raleigh, N.C., in the Office of Legislative Affairs. One
position available. The incumbent will receive, evaluate, thoroughly research and respond in a timely manner to official
inquiries from local, state and federal legislators relating to the operations of the North Carolina National Guard. The
successful candidate must possess superior writing skills and be able to prepare professional correspondence in
accordance with military standards. Additionally, the successful candidate must have superior verbal communication skills
and experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Prior military experience and/or a working knowledge of
National Guard operations is highly desired.

Background as a military personnel specialist is highly desired. Familiarity with Army Regulation 25-50 and Air Force
Handbook 33-337 is highly desired. The successful candidate must have a high school diploma. A bachelor's degree is
desirable. A current security clearance is not required but is highly desirable.
