Trotz des Bedeutungsverlustes der klassischen Medien stehen sie in der Gunst deutlich vor Bloggern, YouTubern und anderen Social-Media-Akteuren. Auf Platz zwei des Influencer-Rankings haben es die eigenen Kunden geschafft. Danach folgen die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter. Das ergab der neue PR-Trendmonitor von news aktuell und Faktenkontor. Mehr als 650 PR-Professionals aus Pressestellen und PR-Agenturen haben an der Umfrage teilgenommen.
Drei Viertel aller Kommunikatoren zielen mit ihren Maßnahmen in erster Linie auf die klassischen Medien ab. Trotz ihres vielfach propagierten Bedeutungsverlustes stehen die Redakteure von Zeitungen, Zeitschriften, TV und Hörfunk nach wie vor im Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit. Erstaunlich ist, dass der Abstand zu Bloggern und anderen Akteuren aus Social Media sehr groß ausfällt. So halten nur 20 Prozent der Befragten Blogger für sehr wichtig. Bei YouTubern und Instagramern sind es sogar nur sechs Prozent.
Die klassischen Zielgruppen, die nicht den Medien zuzuordnen sind, bewegen sich auf der Bedeutungsskala insgesamt deutlich weiter vorn als die Vertreter aus dem Social Web. Kunden werden zu 68 Prozent für sehr wichtig gehalten, die eigenen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter zu 46 Prozent. Abgeschlagen auf dem letzten Platz der klassischen Influencer liegen die NGOs mit gerade einmal acht Prozent.
